How It All Began

I will never forget the day in my seventh grade ecology class when I learned that it takes plastic over 1,000 years to degrade once it is thrown away. This eye-opening lesson profoundly affected the course of my life. From that moment on, I became a champion of doing my part to preserve and protect our earth.

I became conscious of the recycling potential of everything I used, whether it was paper, glass, plastic or any other disposable material. And now, with more than 10 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, I am at the forefront of an industry that allows me to advocate for recycling, preserving natural resources and sustaining our earth for future generations. However, I wanted to do more to share my knowledge and build awareness about recycling with other women. And so, Eco Earth was born!

Recycling School and The Power of Women

Recycling School was created to help educate and motivate other women to recycle! After attending several recycling seminars, through my work as a Regional Director and Chapter President for the National Association of Professional Women and as a mentor to a young female, I recognized that recycling and the empowerment of women are two very important causes that go hand in hand.

I invite you to take a look around my site and join me on all my social media channels where I will share easy tips and facts about recycling.
